Jason Classon
Director & Investor

Jason was the former head of operations for Flickr where he was responsible for the company’s technology vision and execution. Jason co-founded Ludicorp Research & Development with partner, Stewart Butterfield. The two set out to create an online multi-user game called the "Game Neverending". Under Jason and Stewart's leadership, Flickr became one of the world's largest photo sharing communities. Flickr is now ranked in the top 40 in the world of English based websites and was acquired by Yahoo! in March of 2005.

Prior to Flickr, Jason was the original founder and president of Gradfinder.com which was acquired by Highwired. Previous to that he worked at Communicate.com consulting to fortune 500 companies and founded his first company called Matrix Internet Productions in 1996. Jason was educated at the University of Victoria in computer science.
