Brett Forsyth
Brett is an expert in Flash and connecting Flash to backend systems. Together with the Rouxbe team his work will ensure seamless viewing of Rouxbe videos. He uses digital design and information technology to help realize the artistic vision of the creative team at Rouxbe. His work also includes building interactive user experiences, taking users to the next level, getting them more involved in the Rouxbe experience. These are the skills he brings to his students in his role as instructor for the Digital Design program at the Vancouver Film School.
His professional experience includes work at Bayleaf Software and Gumshoe Interactive. In his capacity at Bayleaf Software Brett developed an xml based quiz in flash and was also a lead flash developer. He is continuously looking to push flash technology further so as to support more creative endeavors and multi-user interactive experiences. His work strives to balance technological need with creative products be it image portfolios or culinary videos.
